Where are you located?

LUXME White is located in Crete, Greece, just 65 km (40 miles) and about a 1-hour and 10-minute drive from Chania International Airport (CHQ) “Ioannis Daskalogiannis”. The airport operates seasonal international flights from numerous European cities, as well as regular domestic flights via Athens (ATH) and Thessaloniki (SKG), both offering extensive international connections. Alternatively, guests may arrive via Heraklion International Airport (HER) “Nikos Kazantzakis”, located approximately 76 km (47 miles) from the resort, with a drive time of around 1 hour.

 

Crete is also accessible by sea. The Port of Rethymno is just 8 km (5 miles) away and about a 10-minute drive, serving regional ferry routes during the summer months. For more frequent ferry services, the Port of Heraklion (76 km) and the Port of Souda near Chania (56 km) offer regular connections to Athens (Piraeus) and other Greek islands.

 

How far is the main town?

LUXME White is located 8 km (5 miles) from Rethymno Town, approximately a 10-minute drive. Heraklion Town is 76 km (47 miles) away, around a 1-hour drive. Chania Town is about 65 km (40 miles) from the resort, with an estimated drive time of 1 hour and 10 minutes.

 

What is the weather like?

Crete enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters. Summer (June–August) sees temperatures from 27°C to 30°C (81°F to 86°F) with up to 12 hours of sunshine daily, ideal for beachgoers. Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–October) are warm and pleasant, with minimal rain, perfect for exploring. Winters (November–February) are mild, averaging 10°C to 16°C (50°F to 61°F), with occasional rainfall. Coastal breezes in summer help keep temperatures comfortable.

 

What Time Zone is followed in Crete Island?

Greece follows GMT+3 during the summer months (from late March until October) and GMT+2 during the winter months, due to the daylight saving time change.

TRANSPORTATION

How do I get there?

LUXME White is easily accessible by car from both Chania International Airport (CHQ), approximately 65 km (1 hour and 10 minutes), and Heraklion International Airport (HER), approximately 76 km (1 hour). Rental cars, taxis, and private transfers are available from both airports.

 

Are private transfers available?

Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request and at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. What modes of transportation are available at the destination?

A variety of transportation options are available for getting around Crete. Guests can use rental cars, taxis, or public buses to reach nearby towns and attractions. Taxis are available upon request and can be arranged by contacting the front desk at any time.

 

A public bus stop is conveniently located at the entrance of the hotel (Pigianos Kampos Stop), with regular service to Rethymno Town, approximately 8 km away. The journey takes around 15–20 minutes, and tickets cost about €1–2. Buses run every 30 minutes in high season and every hour in low season. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver, so it is advised to carry small change.

What are the check-in and check-out hours?

Check-out: 11AM
Check-in: 3PM.

 

What documents or items are required at check-in?

Kindly present your ID card or passport and the credit card used to book your reservation.

 

Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out?

If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability.

 

Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out

All hotel facilities are available to LUXME White guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly. The LUXME Package ends at 17:00 on the departure day.

 

Are luggage storage services available?

The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out.

 

Are twin beds available?

Yes, twin beds are available upon request in select room types.

 

What is the size of the extra bed?

All our extra beds are 78 inches (200 cm) in length and 35 inches (90 cm) in width and can accommodate an extra person, subject to the room’s maximum occupancy.

 

Do you offer a pillow menu?

A pillow menu is available for select room types and upon request.

 

Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room?

Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room, applicable to select room types and during specific periods.

 

Does the room include complimentary coffee or tea facilities?

All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, including a Nespresso machine.

 

Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival?

Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected].

 

Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room?

An iron and ironing board is available for our guests and can be delivered to your room for a limited length of time for security reasons. Ironing service is also available at an extra charge.

 

Is there a safe in the room?

All room types offer a safety deposit box.

DINING & MEAL PLANS

What meal plans are available?

Guests staying at LUXME White Palace enjoy an upscale all-inclusive meal plan under the LUXME package.

The plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the main buffet restaurant, as well as a la carte dining, daytime snacking including options from the Pâtisserie-Chocolaterie and Creperie-Gelateria, and a premium selection of drinks and beverages. The LUXME package is valid at all available restaurants and bars but does not apply to in-room dining. Each a la carte restaurant can be reserved once per week, subject to availability. Prior reservations are required for all a la carte dining venues. Guests can also enjoy a dining experience at Agreco Farm, subject to availability. Please note that transfers to the farm are not included. The LUXME package ends at 5 p.m. on the day of departure.

 

What meal plans are available for children?

Children up to 12 years of age enjoy a complimentary lunch buffet at the ‘Tasty Corner’ (12:30–14:00, from mid-June to mid-September), as well as free dining at the main restaurant from a dedicated kids’ menu. Guests aged over 12 are considered adults.

 

Do you have baby food available?

For infants aged 0–1 year, baby food can be prepared according to your preferences. Please contact the Restaurant Manager in advance to place your order. Our staff is also happy to assist with warming baby bottles or baby food.

 

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs.

 

Where is Agreco Farm located and how can I get there?

Agreco Farm is located in Adele Village, approximately a 10-minute drive from the resort. Transfers are not included.

You can reach the farm by shuttle bus, car, or taxi. Shuttle bus tickets must be purchased in advance at the reception desk and cost 8€ per person. Children under 4 years old ride free. If you choose to take a taxi, please allow approximately 20 minutes for waiting time. Please note that a reservation is required.

 

Are there any dress codes for the restaurants?

We kindly request all guests to adhere to a resort casual attire with appropriate footwear while dining with us.

Evening Dress Code (after 17:00) : Elegant, Smart Casual – Swimwear, sportswear and flip-flops are not allowed.

 

Can private dinners be arranged?

Create and personalize your own private dining experience, prepared and served at the location of your choice. To arrange this service, please contact our concierge or reach out to the Guest Relations department at [email protected]. Our chefs are delighted to accommodate any special dietary or meal requirements.

 

Can we book a table in advance?

We recommend booking your restaurant reservations in advance. You may reserve in advance via the Grecotel mobile application, available for download on all iOS and Android devices. Please note that reservation time slots for the upcoming week are upated every Thursday. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during your stay.

WELLNESS

Do you have a spa?

Yes. Our Hippie Spa offers numerous treatments ranging from massages to special facials. The spa is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, except Sundays.

 

Do we have to book the spa in advance?

While it is not necessary to book in advance, we recommend booking Hippie Spa treatments and massages at least a week in advance. To make a reservation, you can use the Grecotel Mobile App (available on the App Store and Google Play), email [email protected], or call +30 28310 71102 to guarantee your preferred timing.

 

What are the spa facilities?

The Hippie Spa offers a range of wellness and beauty facilities. Guests can enjoy private massage rooms, a nail bar, beauty salon, relaxation area, and well-equipped changing rooms. Personalized treatments are also available, including special facials, body treatments, and massages tailored to your needs.

Two saunas are available at our indoor gym.

 

Do you have male therapists?

We do not have Male therapists at Hippie Spa.

 

Do you have a gym?

Yes. LUXME White Palace features a well-equipped indoor and outdoor gym with modern cardio and strength training equipment. The indoor gym is open daily from 07:00 to 19:00 and is supervised during operating hours for your convenience.

 

Do you have a salon?

Yes. While we do not offer hair services, our salon provides a wide range of beauty and grooming treatments. Services include manicures, pedicures, waxing, make-up application, and bridal packages. Guests can also enjoy add-ons such as express facials, body scrubs, and relaxing head and face massages. KIDS

Do you have a kids club?

Our Grecoland kids club is a dedicated, fully equipped space designed for children aged 4–12, offering a variety of creative and educational activities supervised by trained staff. Children aged 3 years old and below are also welcome to use the kids club with the presence of a parent or legal guardian. The club operates six days a week throughout the season.

 

Do you provide special amenities for babies and toddlers?

Yes. Our GrecoBaby service provides a wide range of amenities for infants and toddlers (aged 0–3 years) to ensure a comfortable stay. Items can be requested in advance by completing the Grecobaby form >

What indoor & outdoor activities are available?

LUXME White offers a wide range of fitness, wellness, and recreational activities for all ages. Enjoy yoga, aerial yoga, pilates, stretching, aqua gym, pool games, darts, table tennis, and boccia. Water activities include snorkeling, water polo, and various watersports, plus an on-site diving center. Guests can also rent E-Bikes and E-Scooters with GPS-guided tours (available daily from 07:00 to 23:00). Nearby attractions and experiences (available at an additional cost) include horse riding (4 km / 2.5 miles), tennis courts (5 km / 3 miles), an Aqua Park (15 km / 9 miles, transport not included), and Rethymno Kart (1 km / 0.6 miles). Families can also enjoy the unique “Farmer for a Day” experience at Agreco Farm.

Are there good diving spots near Grecotel LUXME White?

Yes. LUXME White features an on-site Scuba Diving Center (PADI certified), offering dive experiences for all levels. Our expert partners will help arrange dives suited to your experience, from beginner-friendly sessions to advanced explorations of nearby underwater sites.

 

Do you offer excursion boat trips?

Yes. We offer a variety of boat trips, cruises, and yacht experiences to help you enjoy the sea breeze in style. Options include snorkeling excursions, fishing trips, and private cruises. What types of water sports activities are available?

LUXME White offers a full range of both non-motorized and motorized water sports through our partners at Mastoras Watersports. Activities include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), jet skiing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, and fun rides such as banana boats, tubes, and Crazy UFO.

How do I book?

How do I pay for my reservation?

Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club.

Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder.

In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.

 

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked.

Are there any additional fees?

According to legislation, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €15.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out.

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests?

Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel.

 

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

No, pets are not allowed. Only guide dogs are permitted on the premises to accompany their handler. To ensure eligibility and proper arrangements, the reservations department must be informed at the time of booking. View pet policy >

 

Do you have a medical facility or pharmacy nearby?

Yes. There are both public and private hospitals in Rethymno Town, located approximately 8 km (5 miles) from the resort. A medical center is also available nearby for non-emergency needs. Additionally, a 24/7 on-call resort doctor for urgent assistance is available. Please note that medical services may incur additional charges.

 

Is there 24-hour reception service?

Yes. Reception is available 24 hours a day.

 

Is there an ATM machine on the hotel premises?

Yes. An ATM is located at the reception level of the hotel for your convenience.

 

Do you provide Wi-Fi and is it free?

We provide complimentary Wi-Fi access.

 

Are the pools heated?

Our main pool and our kids pool are heated in April and October. All our pools (public, shared, private) are saltwater pools.

 

What are the parking options at the hotel?

There is a parking area in the hotel premises, free of charge, and alongside electric vehicle charging stations.

 

What plug adapter do I need to bring?

The hotel is equipped with Type C power plugs and sockets. Type C plugs feature two round parallel pins that connect to corresponding two-hole wall sockets. The standard voltage supplied is 220 V.

 

Is the tap water drinkable?

Tap water in Crete is generally safe to drink. However, it is recommended to opt for bottled water.
