LOCATION
Where are you located?
Mykonos Blu is located on the island of Mykonos, Greece on the cosmopolitan Psarou Beach. The hotel is approximately 4.5 km (2.8miles) and a 10-minute drive from Mykonos Town (Chora), and 4.5 km (2.8 miles) from Mykonos International Airport (JMK), which operates frequent domestic flights from Athens (ATH) and Thessaloniki (SKG), as well as direct international flights during the summer season. Mykonos New Port (Tourlos) is about 5.5 km (3.4 miles) from the resort, approximately a 15-minute drive. The port connects the island with Athens (Piraeus and Rafina), other Cycladic islands, and mainland Greece.
How far is the main town?
The hotel is just 4.5km (2.8 miles) from Mykonos Town, also known as Chora, approximately a 10-minute drive. The town is famous for its whitewashed alleyways, traditional Cycladic architecture, and historic landmarks such as the iconic windmills. Chora offers vibrant nightlife, boutique shopping, charming harborside restaurants, and picturesque neighborhoods such as Little Venice.
What is the weather like?
Mykonos enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters. From April to September, the weather is mostly sunny with minimal rainfall. Summer temperatures (June to August) range from 28 to 36°C (83 to 97°F), with cooling sea breezes and occasional strong north winds known as Meltemia. Spring and autumn are generally mild and pleasant, while winters (December to February) are cooler, with temperatures averaging between 9 and 15°C (48 to 59°F) and occasional rainfall.
What Time Zone is followed?
Greece follows GMT+3 during the summer months (from late March until October) and GMT+2 during the winter months, due to the daylight-saving time change.
TRANSPORTATION
How do I get there?
We can organize private transfers for arrivals and departures from Mykonos International Airport, located just 4.5 km (2.8 miles) from the resort, as well as the Mykonos New Port (Tourlos) located approximately 7.6km (4.7 miles) away. Depending on the season and traffic, the journey can take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. Private transfers are available upon request at an additional charge. Please note that Mykonos has only around 31 taxis island-wide, so securing one can sometimes be difficult, though there may be some available on-site. Are private transfers available?
Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request and at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. Are there any complimentary shuttle services available to/from the hotel?
The hotel does not offer complimentary shuttles, but a public bus stop is located right outside the resort, providing access to several destinations around the island.
What modes of transportation are available at the destination?
The island has a limited number of taxis, so private transfers or rental vehicles are often the most convenient choices. Rental options including cars, scooters, buggies, and quad bikes can be arranged through the guest services desk. A public bus service operates with a stop right outside the hotel, with schedules varying by season and available at the guest services desk or online. The main bus terminal is in Mykonos Town, about 4.5 km (2.8 miles) away, with stops also at the Old Port. Tickets can be bought from the driver (cash only, exact change recommended) or local kiosks, with fares ranging from €1.50 to €2.50 depending on distance.

What documents or items are required at check-in?
Kindly present your ID card or passport and the credit card used to book your reservation.
Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out?
If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability.
Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out?
All hotel facilities are available to Mykonos Blu guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly.
Are luggage storage services available?
The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out.
Are twin beds available?
All our rooms are equipped with king size beds; however, we may provide separate top sheets, linens and covers on the king size bed. An extra bed can be provided upon request in specific room types only, at no extra cost. Kindly inform us of your request for an extra bed during your reservation procedure and prior to your arrival.
What is the size of the extra bed?
All our extra beds are 200 cm (78 inches) in length and 90 cm (35 inches) in width and can accommodate an extra guest, subject to the room’s maximum occupancy policy.
Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room?
Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room, applicable to select room types and during specific periods.
Does the room include complimentary coffee or tea facilities?
All rooms are equipped with Tea & Coffee Facilities, Nespresso coffee machine and pods.
Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival?
Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected].
Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room?
An iron and ironing board is available for our guests and can be delivered to your room for a limited length of time for security reasons. Ironing service is also available at an extra charge.
Is there a safe in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.

Are all restaurants operational?
Children below 12 years can dine for free from kids’ menu.
Yes. All our restaurants are operational throughout the season. In the event of unexpected adverse weather conditions, outdoor seating areas may be temporarily closed for guest comfort and safety.
What meal plans are available?
The resort operates on a breakfast-only basis, with a complimentary breakfast included in your stay. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of options each morning, ranging from lavish American buffets to exclusive à la carte selections and traditional local specialties. Lunch and dinner are available at an additional charge across a variety of our dining venues, along with a wide selection of light bites, snacks, cocktails, and other beverages served throughout the day.
What meal plans are available for children?
Children up to 12 years old enjoy complimentary à la carte dining from our designated kids’ menu. This is in addition to the breakfast included in your stay, which also offers a variety of child-friendly options.
Do you have baby food available?
For infants aged 0–1 year, baby food can be prepared according to your preferences. Please contact the Restaurant Manager in advance to place your order. Our staff is also happy to assist with warming baby bottles or baby food.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs.
Are there any dress codes for the restaurants?
We kindly request all guests to adhere to a resort casual attire with appropriate footwear while dining with us.
Evening Dress Code (after 17:00) : Elegant, Smart Casual – Swimwear, sportswear and flip-flops are not allowed.
Can private dinners be arranged?
Yes, private dinners can be arranged upon request, offering a variety of unforgettable experiences. Choose the Sunset Feast for a romantic dinner overlooking Psarou Beach, with personalized cuisine and breathtaking views. For a more secluded setting, the Villa Indulgence experience offers private dining in the comfort of your own villa with bespoke dishes and dedicated service. Alternatively, enjoy a Mykonian Picnic on a remote beach like Rhenia or Agios Sostis, accessible by yacht, featuring champagne, chef-prepared bites, and a stunning sunset setting. Our concierge team will assist you in planning the ideal evening.
Can we book a table in advance?
We recommend booking your restaurant reservations in advance. You may reserve in advance via the Grecotel mobile application, available for download on all iOS and Android devices. Please note that reservation time slots for the upcoming week are updated every Thursday. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during your stay.

Do you have a spa?

Do we have to book the spa in advance?
While it is not necessary to book in advance, we recommend booking Elixir Wellness Center treatments and massages at least a week in advance. Do you have male therapists?
We do not have male therapists at Elixir Wellness Center.
Do you have a gym?
Yes. We have a well-equipped indoor gym with numerous modern cardio and strength training equipment.

Yes, we offer a full menu of salon treatments, including classic and spa manicures and pedicures, long-lasting polish, colour changes, and removal services. While we do not offer in-house hair services, we’re happy to assist with arrangements upon request, whether booking a trusted local salon or organising a visit from a professional hairdresser to the resort. Do you have a kid’s club?

Are babysitting services available?
Yes, babysitting services can be arranged by contacting our Guest Services Team. We kindly ask that all bookings be made at least 24 hours in advance either via e-mail to [email protected] or at the front desk upon arrival.
Are there any guidelines for babysitting services?
Each session has a minimum duration of one hour and is charged in one-hour increments. For bookings over three hours, the babysitter is entitled to one meal from room service, which will be added to the guest’s account. For safety, one babysitter is assigned per child under 2 years old, and one babysitter may supervise up to two children over the age of 2. Each babysitter is assigned to a single room or villa. Babysitters are allocated based on availability, and while we try to accommodate preferences, specific requests regarding gender, language, or individual team members cannot be guaranteed.

What indoor & outdoor activities are available?
Guests at Mykonos Blu can enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor options include diving, snorkeling, a range of watersports, and horseback riding, all available nearby. For indoor activities, our fully equipped indoor gym allows for invigorating workout sessions. What types of water sports activities are available?
While Mykonos Blu does not offer water sports directly on-site, our Concierge Team will be delighted to assist in arranging a wide variety of water sports at nearby facilities. Please feel free to visit the Front Desk for recommendations and personalized assistance.
Do you offer excursion boat trips?
Yes. A selection of boat excursions is available through our trusted external partners, including private cruises, island-hopping adventures, and scenic tours around the Aegean. To make a reservation, please contact our Guest Services Team in person or via email at [email protected]. We’ll be happy to help you plan the perfect experience.
Are helicopter excursions available?
Yes. Tailor-made helicopter experiences can be arranged through our external partners—whether you wish to explore Mykonos from above or travel to nearby islands. Can private jet trips be arranged?

Are there any beach bars near Grecotel Mykonos Blu?
Yes. Several of Mykonos’ most iconic beach bars are located just a short distance from Grecotel Mykonos Blu, offering vibrant atmospheres, upscale dining, and unforgettable sunset experiences.
- Nammos is located on Psarou Beach, just 350 meters (0.2 miles) from the resort and only a 3-minute walk. It is one of the island’s most famous beach clubs.
- Scorpios and SantAnna, both on Paraga Beach, are approximately 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) away and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car.
- Principote, located at Panormos Beach, is around 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles) away and about a 20-minute drive.
- Alemagou, known for its laid-back bohemian vibe, is located on Ftelia Beach, approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the resort and around a 25-minute drive.

How do I book?

How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club.
Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder.
In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.
What is the payment and cancellation policy?
Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked.
Are there any additional fees?
In compliance with legal regulations, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €15.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out.

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests?
Due to the architectural layout of the resort, some areas and accommodations are not suitable for mobility-impaired guests. The resort and its rooms are not accessible to guests using wheelchairs. We kindly recommend contacting our reservations team in advance via e-mail at [email protected] for more information and assistance in determining whether the property can meet your specific needs.
Is there 24-hour reception service?
Reception is available 24 hours a day.
Is there an ATM machine on the hotel premises?
There is no ATM machine at the premises. The nearest ATM is approximately 200 meters (0.12 miles) away, about a 3-minute walk along the coastal path to Platis Gialos beach.
Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?
No. Cash notes can be exchanged at the airport and the town center into Euros.
Do you provide Wi-Fi and is it free?
We provide complimentary Wi-Fi access.
What are the parking options at the hotel?
There is a small parking area on the hotel premises, free of charge.
What plug adapter do I need to bring?
The power plugs and sockets in the hotel are type C. Type C consists of two round parallel pins while the wall plug has two holes where it is connected, the standard voltage is 220 V.
Is the tap water drinkable?
No. Tap water is not drinkable, and we recommend always opting for bottled water. All rooms are provided with 2 complimentary bottles of water on daily basis.
