Where are you located?

THE ROC CLUB is situated in Vouliagmeni, a coastal suburb of Athens. It is approximately 22 km (14 miles) from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, about a 20- to 26-minute drive, and roughly 23 km (14 miles) from the International Port of Piraeus, around a 25-minute drive. Vouliagmeni is easily accessible from both key transport hubs, making it convenient for travelers arriving by air or sea.

 

How far is the main town?

THE ROC CLUB is about 20 km (12 miles) from Athens, the capital of Greece, known for its ancient history, vibrant alleyways, and iconic landmarks like the Acropolis. The drive to Athens’s city centre takes a minimum of 35 minutes depending on traffic.

Nearby seaside spots include Vouliagmeni, just 3 km (2 miles) away, and only a 5 to 10-minute drive. Vouliagmeni is known for its beautiful beaches, natural thermal springs, upscale dining, and the luxurious Astir Marina. Meanwhile Glyfada is about 11 km (7 miles) north, a 15 to 20-minute drive, offering shopping, elegant seaside dining, and its own beaches.

 

What is the weather like?

Vouliagmeni has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters. In spring (March to May), temperatures gradually rise from around 15 to 24°C (59 to 75°F), with moderate rainfall and increasing sunshine. Summers (June to August) are hot and dry, with highs between 29 and 32°C (84 to 90°F) and warm nights. Rain is rare, and the sea reaches a pleasant 24 to 25°C (75 to 77°F). Autumn (September to November) brings cooler temperatures, from around 28°C (82°F) in September down to 19°C (66°F) in November, along with more frequent rain. Winters (December to February) remain mild, with temperatures between 7 and 15°C (45 to 59°F) and the highest rainfall of the year. Snow is extremely rare.

 

What Time Zone is followed?

Greece follows GMT+3 during the summer months (from late March until October) and GMT+2 during the winter months, due to the daylight saving time change.

TRANSPORTATION

How do I get there?

THE ROC CLUB is approximately 22 km (14 miles) from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, about a 25-30-minute taxi ride depending on traffic. Taxis are available 24/7 outside the terminal for direct transfer. Car rentals are also available onsite.

 

From the Port of Piraeus, THE ROC CLUB is about 23 km (14 miles) away, approximately a 25-minute taxi or private car ride.

 

Are private transfers available?

Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request and at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. Are there any complimentary shuttle services available to/from the hotel?

The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle. However, we can arrange private or shared transfers or book a taxi for an additional fee. For assistance, contact our reservations team via e-mail at [email protected].

 

What modes of transportation are available at the destination?

THE ROC CLUB offers a variety of transportation options to help you explore Athens and the Athenian Riviera. Taxis can be arranged through reception at any time, typically arriving within 10–20 minutes. For guests who prefer flexibility, car, motorbike, and bicycle rentals can be arranged directly at the front desk.

 

While the Athens metro system is an easy and efficient way to navigate the city once you’re in the centre, it is not within walking distance of the hotel. The nearest station is Elliniko (Red Line) which connects directly to the Acropolis and central Athens. It is approximately 10 km (6 miles) away and can be reached easily by taxi.

What are the check-in and check-out hours?

Check-out: 11AM

What documents or items are required at check-in?

Kindly present your ID card or passport and the credit card used to book your reservation.

 

Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out?

If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability.

 

Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out?

All hotel facilities are available to THE ROC CLUB guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly.

 

Are luggage storage services available?

The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out.

 

How often are the bed sheets and towels changed?

Implementing measures of natural resources management with the aim of improving the local environment, bed sheets and towels are changed after the second day of your stay. However, in case you want them to be changed daily, you may place the designated label in the room.

 

Is there a choice of pillows available?

No. All our pillows, however, are hypoallergenic.

 

Are twin beds available?

Yes, twin beds are available upon request in select room types. Alternatively, the bed can be prepared with separate duvets on a shared mattress to offer a similar level of comfort.

 

What is the size of the extra bed?

All our extra beds are 190 cm (~75 inches) in length and 80 cm (~32 inches) in width and can accommodate one additional guest, subject to the room’s maximum occupancy policy.

 

Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room?

For direct bookings, children up to the age of 12 stay for free in their parents’ room.

 

Does the room include complimentary coffee or tea facilities?

All rooms are equipped with Coffee Facilities, replenished daily. Kettles are available upon request and can be delivered to your room.

 

Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival?

Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected].

Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room?

An iron and ironing boards are available for our guests and can be delivered to your room for a limited length of time for security reasons.

 

Is there a safe in the room?

All room types offer a safety deposit box.

DINING AND MEAL PLANS

Are all restaurants operational?

Depending on seasonality, the operation schedules of the restaurants may vary. The pool and rooftop Rocket restaurant are outdoor venues and operate during the summer season. However, the all-day restaurant lounge and bar remain open year-round and can accommodate guests accordingly.

 

What meal plans are available?

Breakfast is the only meal plan offered. Guests at THE ROC CLUB enjoy a daily breakfast buffet served at the main restaurant.

 

What meal plans are available for children?

A dedicated kids menu is available for children.

 

Do you have baby food available?

Specially prepared baby food for toddlers (0–1 year) is available upon request. Kindly contact the Restaurant Manager in advance to arrange your order.

 

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs.

 

Are there any dress codes for the restaurants?

We follow a resort-casual dress code during dinner time at our restaurants. Swimwear and flip-flops are discouraged at our restaurants.

 

Can private dinners be arranged?

While private dinners are not offered, we can arrange an exclusive in-room dining experience for you to enjoy in the comfort and privacy of your room. To request this service, please contact our team at [email protected] before your arrival, or inform the front desk at least one day in advance.

 

Can we book a table in advance?

We recommend booking your restaurant reservations in advance. You may reserve via the Grecotel mobile application, available for download on all iOS and Android devices. Please note that reservation time slots for the upcoming week are updated every Thursday. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during your stay.

 

Is early breakfast or a breakfast box & lunch box available?

Yes. Εarly breakfast is available in the form of breakfast boxes, offered free of charge. Please make sure to arrange it at least one day in advance. Lunch boxes are also available upon request, and with an extra charge.

Do you have a spa?

We do not have a spa.

 

Do you offer massage or wellness treatments?

We collaborate with a trusted external partner who offers in-room massage treatments. Both male and female therapists are available upon request. Additional charges apply.

 

Do you have a Sauna?

We do not have a sauna.

 

Do you have a gym?

Yes. We have a well-equipped indoor gym with numerous modern cardio and strength-training equipment.

 

Do you have a salon?

There is no salon on-site. Our team would be happy to recommend trusted salons nearby and assist with arranging appointments, either at the salon or in the comfort of your room.

KIDS

Do you have a kids club?

No, we do not have a Kids Club.

 

Do you provide special amenities for babies and toddlers?

Yes. For infants up to 1 year old, we can provide a baby cot, baby shampoo, and a baby bathrobe free of charge upon request. Please inform our reservations team in advance at [email protected].

 

Additionally, based on availability and upon request, the following items can be provided: diaper bin, bottle sterilizer, baby bathtub, baby changing table, and a children’s seat.

 

Are babysitting services available?

Yes, babysitting services are available upon request. The minimum charge is €200 for the first three hours, with an additional €60 for each extra hour. A 15-minute grace period is allowed for parents to return to their room; beyond that, an extra charge of €60 per hour will apply. View babysitting terms & conditions >

 

ACTIVITIES

What indoor & outdoor activities are available?

THE ROC CLUB offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including tennis, gym sessions, and yoga. Water sports such as scuba diving, pedal boats, sea kayaking, water-skiing, wakeboarding, and snorkeling are available off-property through trusted external partners and can be arranged for an additional charge.

How do I book?

How do I pay for my reservation?

Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club.

Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder.

In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.

 

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked.

 

Are there any additional fees?

According to legislation, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €15.00 per room, per night, and from November 1st to March 31st, it is reduced to €4.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out.

GENERAL INFO

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests?

Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramp sections or elevators beside most of the steps in the hotel.


Are pets allowed in the hotel?

No, pets are not allowed. Guide dogs are permitted to accompany their handler in all hotel areas. To ensure eligibility and proper arrangements, the reservations department must be informed at the time of booking. View pet policy >


Is there baggage transfer service?

Baggage transfer service can be arranged upon request for an additional charge.


Do you have a medical facility or pharmacy nearby?

The nearest medical facility is Asklipieio Voulas in nearby Voula, approximately 3 km (2 miles) from THE ROC CLUB, which is about a 10-minute drive. Several pharmacies are also located within a 5 to 10-minute walk from the hotel. A doctor is on-call 24/7 for all types of emergencies. Please note that additional charges apply for medical services.


Is there 24-hour reception service?

Reception is available 24 hours a day.


Is there an ATM machine on the hotel premises?

No. The nearest ATM is located about 500 meters (0.3 miles) from the hotel, just a 6–7-minute walk.


Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?

No. You may exchange cash notes at the airport in Euros, or in the nearest exchange office which is a 15-minute drive away.


Do you provide Wi-Fi and is it free?

We provide complimentary Wi-Fi access.


What are the parking options at the hotel?

Complimentary parking is available on the hotel premises on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

What plug adapter do I need to bring?

The hotel is equipped with Type C power plugs and sockets. Type C plugs feature two round parallel pins that connect to corresponding two-hole wall sockets. The standard voltage supplied is 220 V.


Is the tap water drinkable?

Yes. Tap water in Vouliagmeni is generally safe to drink.

Are non-resident guests allowed to use the hotel facilities?

Non-resident guests are welcome to have a meal or drink at our restaurants (the Lobby Restaurant and the Rocket Rooftop Restaurant). We recommend making a reservation in advance. Please note that our pool area and gym are exclusively reserved for guests staying at the property.

 

Are personalized services available?

While we do not offer services such as butlers or in-room chefs, we are happy to tailor your experience based on our existing services to enhance your stay with us.

 

Do you accommodate requests for special occasions?
