EASTER AT DAPHNILA BAY
Corfu does Easter like nowhere else in Greece and at Daphnila Bay, the season is felt with a particular warmth. Nestled on the Kommeno Peninsula, the resort offers a natural setting that perfectly frames the island’s most celebrated traditions, from the solemnity of the Epitaphios in Corfu Town to the exuberance of the Botides on Holy Saturday morning.

OUR TRADITIONS
Holy Week in Corfu is unlike anywhere else in Greece. At Daphnila Bay, guests experience the island’s traditions close up — the Epitaphios procession winding through the narrow streets of Corfu Town on Good Friday, the Botides shattering in Liston Square on Holy Saturday morning, the bells and fireworks of the Resurrection service at midnight.
OUR GASTRONOMY
Daphnila Bay follows the rhythm of the season at the table. Lenten menus run through Holy Week, with lunch and dinner served daily at Antica Cucina and Asia Oliva by the sea. After the Resurrection service, guests return to a traditional magiritsa supper to mark the end of the fast. Easter Sunday opens with a festive breakfast and moves into a celebratory lunch with lamb roasted on the hotel terrace, music and dancing.
EASTER AT DAPHNILA BAY
The Kommeno Peninsula provides a setting that makes the season feel even more special. The Botides tradition is brought to life on the hotel terrace on Holy Saturday morning, lamb roasts in the open air on Easter Sunday, and the natural beauty of the bay frames it all — a celebration that is at once deeply Corfiot and entirely at ease with itself.
KIDS WONDERLAND
At Daphnila Bay, children stay, dine and play completely free. Through Holy Week, the Grecoland Kids Club keeps younger guests happily engaged — Easter games, painting activities and the kind of easy, sun-filled days that Corfu in spring does particularly well.
