Where are you located?
Corfu Imperial is located in Corfu, Greece, approximately 14 km (8.7 mi) and a ~40-minute drive from Corfu International Airport “Ioannis Kapodistrias” (CFU). The airport operates domestic flights, mainly via Athens (ATH) and Thessaloniki (SKG), both of which offer extensive international connections. The hotel is also accessible from Corfu New Port about 11 km (6.8 mi) away and a ~30-minute drive, serving local and regional ferry routes. For broader se travel, Piraeus Port (Athens) is the main international port, which offers extensive international conections from Europe and beyond.
How far is the main town?
Corfu Imperial is just 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Corfu Town, approximately a 30 minute drive. Corfu captivates visitors with its stunning coastline, historic architecture, vibrant festivals, and inviting Mediterranean atmosphere.
What is the weather like?
Corfu Island features a Mediterranean climate with mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. Average temperatures range from 9.5 °C (49 °F) in January to 25 °C (77 °F) in August. Rainfall decreases from mid-March to May and is rare during the summer months when temperatures can reach up to 35–36 °C (95–97 °F), tempered by refreshing sea breezes. Occasional brief showers may occur in September and October, allowing ample opportunity for indoor and outdoor activities.

TRANSPORTATION
How do I get there?
Shared luxury transfers are scheduled in line with international flight arrival times to Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport. Please expect a waiting time of 30 to 60 minutes, as this is shared with other guests. Alternatively, taxis are typically available at the airport terminals.
For guests arriving by ferry, the Port of Corfu is located approximately 11 km (6.8 miles) from Grecotel Corfu Imperial. Taxis are available at the port.
Are private transfers available?
Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request and at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. To arrange a transfer, please contact our Reservations Department at [email protected], and our team will be pleased to assist you. If you prefer to avoid waiting for a shared shuttle bus, we recommend booking a private transfer.
Is it possible to arrange a sea transfer, and is there a luggage limit?
Yes, sea transfers to Corfu Imperial can be arranged, typically combined with a taxi or minivan from the airport to the designated meeting point in Corfu Town at an extra charge. The sea journey takes about 15–20 minutes.
Each guest may bring 20kg of checked luggage and 5kg of carry-on. While this is not strictly enforced, extra charges may apply if a separate vehicle is needed for baggage which exceeds the recommended limit.
Which additional complimentary transfers are provided?
- Luxury Sea Transfers: complimentary luxury sea transfers offered between the Grecotel Corfu Kommeno resorts from the 15th of May until the 15th of October, weather permitting.
- To Corfu Town: A complimentary shared shuttle bus transfer to Corfu Town operates two to four times daily, subject to seasonal scheduling. Due to limited seating, pre-booking is required by emailing our Reservations Team at [email protected].
- To Danilia Village: Complimentary shared shuttle bus transfers to Danilia Village are available for guests with dinner reservations at the site, following scheduled routes.
- Complimentary Airport Transfers: Arrival and departure airport transfers may be included with direct bookings or added value offers. Eligible guests are kindly requested to send their flight details, reservation name, and booking reference to our reservations department at [email protected] to confirm arrangements.
What modes of transportation are available at the destination?
Guests can also arrange taxis 24/7 through reception, with typical waiting times of 10 to 30 minutes. Rental cars, motorbikes, e-bikes, and e-scooters are available on-site or through the concierge for added convenience. For further modes of transportation, please refer to the above answers.

What documents or items are required at check-in?
Kindly present your ID card or passport and the credit card used to book your reservation.
Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out?
If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability.
Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out?
All hotel facilities are available to Corfu Imperial guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly.
Are luggage storage services available?
The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out.
Are twin beds available?
Yes, twin beds are available upon request in select room types.
What is the size of the extra bed?
All extra beds measure 200 cm (~78 inches) in length and 90 cm (~35 inches) in width, and may accommodate one additional guest, subject to the room’s maximum occupancy policy.
Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room?
Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room, applicable to select room types and during specific periods.
Does the room include complimentary coffee or tea facilities?
All room types are equipped with an Νespresso machine with 2 complimentary pods per adult/per day. Instant coffee and a selection of teas are replenished daily. Should you prefer fresh milk for tea, please let us know in advance.
Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival?
Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected].
How often are the bed sheets and towels changed?
Implementing measures of natural resources management with the aim of improving the local environment, bed sheets and towels are changed after the second day of your stay. However, in case you want them to be changed daily, you may place the designated label in the room.
Is there a choice of pillows available?
A pillow menu is available upon request, allowing you to select the pillow that best suits your comfort and sleep preferences, including normal, anatomical, and hypoallergenic options.
Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room?
An iron and ironing board is available for our guests and can be delivered to your room for a limited length of time for security reasons. Ironing service is also available at an extra charge.
Is there a safe in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.
DINING AND MEAL PLANS
Are all restaurants operational?
At Corfu Imperial, some restaurants like Yali Seafood operate seasonally from June to September, weather permitting. Additionally, restaurant opening hours may vary, and some venues might close on certain weekdays during dinner hours. Please confirm the schedule upon arrival, as availability can change. What meal plans are available?
Our guests may choose between a breakfast-only plan or the Dine Club Half-Board program.
The Dine Club offers a flexible and elevated dining experience, including daily breakfast and a choice of either daily free lunch or dinner. It also includes a credit allowance for selected à la carte restaurants across Grecotel Resorts in Corfu. For every 7-night stay on the Dine Club plan, guests receive a Dine Club Voucher. This voucher includes two complimentary à la carte dinners and is valid at participating restaurants within the Kommeno Peninsula resorts, and a unique dining experience at Danilia Village.
Please note that drinks and certain menu items are not included, the voucher is non-transferable, and it must be presented before ordering. Full details will be provided by the restaurant staff.

What meal plans are available for children?
Children up to 12 years of age enjoy a complimentary lunch buffet at the ‘Tasty Corner’ (12:30–14:00, from mid-June to mid-September), as well as free dining at the main restaurant from a dedicated kids’ menu. Guests aged over 12 are considered adults.
Do you have baby food available?
For infants aged 0–1 year, baby food can be prepared according to your preferences. Please contact the Restaurant Manager in advance to place your order. Our staff is also happy to assist with warming baby bottles or baby food.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs.
Are there any dress codes for the restaurants?
We follow a resort-casual dress code during dinner time at our restaurants. Swimwear and flip-flops are discouraged at our restaurants.
Can private dinners be arranged?
Create and personalize your own private dining experience, prepared and served at the location of your choice. To arrange this service, please contact our concierge or reach out to the Guest Relations department at [email protected]. Our chefs are delighted to accommodate any special dietary or meal requirements.
Can we book a table in advance?
We recommend booking your restaurant reservations in advance. You may reserve in advance via the Grecotel mobile application, available for download on all iOS and Android devices. Please note that reservation time slots for the upcoming week are updated every Thursday. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during your stay.
Is early breakfast or a breakfast box & lunch box available?
Yes, early breakfast is available upon request. It typically includes light items such as pastries, coffee, and juice. Guests are kindly asked to inform the reception by 20:00 the evening prior to ensure timely preparation. Lunch boxes can also be arranged for early departures or meals on the go.

Do we have to book the spa in advance?
While it is not necessary to book in advance, we recommend booking Elixir Spa treatments and massages at least a week in advance. What are the spa facilities?
The Elixir Spa at Corfu Imperial offers an indoor pool (heated during April, May, and October), an open-air relaxation loggia (168m²), sauna for both men and women, fitness aerobic room, four private massage rooms, one couples massage room, a beauty salon room, changing rooms, and a steam room (shared space for men and women). Hairdresser salon services are also available upon request.

KIDS CLUB
Do you have a kids club?
Our Grecoland kids club is a dedicated, fully equipped space designed for children aged 4–12, offering a variety of creative and educational activities supervised by trained staff. Children aged 3 years old and below are also welcome to use the kids club with the presence of a parent or legal guardian. The club operates six days a week throughout the season.
Do you provide special amenities for babies and toddlers?

What indoor & outdoor activities are available?
A wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities are available. Indoors, enjoy fitness programs such as Pilates and personal training sessions, along with engaging artisan workshops. Outdoor activities include scenic hiking and cycling routes, nature walks, beach games, and a full range of watersports such as water-skiing, parasailing, pedaloes, banana rides and more. No pre-booking is required for watersports.
Are there good diving spots near Grecotel Corfu Imperial?
Yes. Corfu Imperial hosts its own Scuba Diving Center, located right on the resort’s beach in partnership with Amphitrite Diving. Dives are arranged according to your level of experience, including reef, cave, and wreck dives. Children above 8 years of age can also join and begin discovering the fascinating underwater world of the Ionian Sea.
Please note that scuba diving bookings must be made in person upon arrival, as your presence is required for registration.
Do you do excursion boat trips?
Yes. We offer a variety of excursion boat trips, ranging from self-driven boats to luxury yachts, allowing you to explore the emerald waters of the Ionian Sea. Options include sunset cruises, snorkeling trips, private island getaways, and fishing adventures. Our Concierge Team is available to help you craft the perfect itinerary.

Are the public pools heated?
Our main pool is heated during April, May, and October.

How do I book?

How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club.
Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder.
In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.
What is the payment and cancellation policy?
Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked.
Are there any additional fees?
According to legislation, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €15.00 per room, per night, and from November 1st to March 31st, it is reduced to €4.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out.

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests?
Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Pets are allowed in selected room categories (restrictions apply). Guide dogs are permitted to accompany their handler in all hotel areas. Do you have a medical facility or pharmacy nearby?
A 24/7 on-call resort doctor is available upon request (charges may apply). A public hospital and private medical center are located approximately 5 km (3.1 miles) from the resort. The nearest pharmacies are in Tzavros and Dassia, about 3–4 km (1.9–2.5 miles) away.
Medication delivery can be arranged, with charges added to your room account. For any specific medical needs, please contact our Guest Relations team in advance at [email protected], or notify the front desk upon arrival.
Is there 24-hour reception service?
Reception is available 24 hours a day.
Is there an ATM machine on the hotel premises?
Yes. An ATM is available on the lower level of the hotel’s Main Building.
Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?
No. Cash notes can be exchanged at the airport into Euros.
Do you provide Wi-Fi and is it free?

What are the parking options at the hotel?
Parking is available on the hotel premises free of charge, including electric vehicle charging stations. Valet service is also provided for your convenience.
What plug adapter do I need to bring?
The hotel is equipped with Type C power plugs and sockets. Type C plugs feature two round parallel pins that connect to corresponding two-hole wall sockets. The standard voltage supplied is 220 V.
Is the tap water drinkable?
Tap water in Corfu is generally safe to drink. However, it is recommended to opt for bottled water.

How much is the ticket?
The ticket cost for all guests is 20€ per adult/ 10€ per child and includes museum entrance as well as a redeemable voucher at the square Kafenio.

Yes! You are welcome to visit with your dog. We kindly ask that you keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
