Corfu’s Easter traditions are among the most distinctive in Greece, and at Corfu Imperial, the season is lived from the inside. A boat transfer to Corfu Town for the Good Friday Epitaphios, the spectacle of Botides on Holy Saturday morning, the string quintet drifting through the hotel lounges in the evening — each day of the Holy Week carries its own atmosphere, its own rhythm, and its own sense of occasion.
OUR GASTRONOMY
Corfu has its own culinary language, and Easter brings out the best of it. Lenten dishes are served à la carte throughout Holy Week, while Holy Saturday supper introduces the traditional Corfiot magiritsa – tsilihourda. Easter Sunday unfolds around a generous celebratory lunch with local delicacies, crimson-dyed eggs and lamb roasted on the hotel islet.
