Where are you located?
Grecotel Casa Marron is located in Lakopetra, Kato Achaia on the western coast of the Peloponnese in Greece, right by the Ionian Sea. The all-inclusive resort sits on a beachfront site about 10 km (6 miles) from Araxos International Airport, 12 km (~7 miles) from the town of Achaia/Kato Achaia, and roughly 35 km (22 miles) west of Patras.
How far is the main town?
The nearest main town is Kato Achaia, which is located approximately 12 km (7.5 miles) from Grecotel Casa Marron and can be reached by car or taxi in approximately 15–20 minutes.
What is the weather like?
Grecotel Casa Marron, in Lakopetra on the western Peloponnese coast, has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry, sunny summers often reaching the low 20°C to high 30°C (around 80s–90s °F) and mild, wetter winters with average highs around 12–13 °C (mid-50s °F) and cooler nights. The area enjoys plenty of sunshine in summer and occasional rain in the cooler months.
What Time Zone is followed?
Greece follows GMT+3 during the summer months (from late March until October) and GMT+2 during the winter months, due to the daylight saving time change.

How do I get there?
You can reach Grecotel Casa Marron by arranging a private transfer or taxi from Araxos International Airport (approximately 10 km / 6 miles, roughly 10–15 minutes by car), which can be booked in advance through the hotel. Alternatively, you may take a taxi arranged by reception (waiting time approximately 10–30 minutes), rent a car through the concierge, or drive yourself. The resort is also easily accessible by car from Patras (about 35 km / 22 miles).
Are private transfers available?
Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request and at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. Are there any complimentary shuttle services available to/from the hotel?
No, complimentary shuttle services are not offered at Grecotel Casa Marron. Paid private airport shuttle and transfer services are available upon request through the Reservations Department (extra charges apply). Taxis and car rental services are also available.
What modes of transportation are available at the destination?
At Grecotel Casa Marron, you can arrange taxis 24/7 through the hotel reception, book private transfers in advance, rent a car via the concierge desk, use local buses with schedules available at reception, or drive yourself; the resort is also easily reached by car from nearby towns and Araxos Airport.

What documents or items are required at check-in?
Kindly present your ID card or passport and the credit card used to book your reservation.
Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out?
If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability.
Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out?
All hotel facilities are available to Casa Marron guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly.
Are luggage storage services available?
The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out.
Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room?
Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room, applicable to select room types and during specific periods.
Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival?
Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected].
Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room?
Ironing Services are available with an extra charge.
Is there a safe in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.

How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club.
Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder.
In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.
What is the payment and cancellation policy?
Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked.
Are there any additional fees?
According to legislation, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €10.00 per room, per night, and from November 1st to March 31st, it is reduced to €3.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out.
DINING AND MEAL PLANS
Are all restaurants operational?
All restaurants at Casa Marron are operational, but may be subject to changes depending on seasonality, weather permitting.
What meal plans are available?
Grecotel Casa Marron offers an All-Inclusive meal plan, which includes buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, snacks, unlimited drinks (soft drinks, wine, beer, and selected alcoholic beverages), and access to several on-site restaurants and bars. Guests can enjoy a variety of international and Mediterranean cuisine, themed evenings, and special dining options, including à la carte venues (some of which require reservations and minimum stay conditions).
What meal plans are available for children?
Children up to 12 years of age enjoy a complimentary lunch buffet at the “Tasty Corner” (19:00–21:00), as well as complimentary à la carte dining from a dedicated kids’ menu. Guests aged over 12 years are considered adults.
Do you have baby food available?
For infants aged 0–1 year, baby food can be prepared according to your preferences. Please contact the Restaurant Manager in advance to place your order. Our staff is also happy to assist with warming baby bottles or baby food.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs.
Are there any dress-codes for the restaurants?
We kindly request all guests to adhere to a resort casual attire with appropriate footwear while dining with us.
Evening Dress Code (after 17:00): Elegant, Smart Casual – Swimwear, sportswear and flip-flops are not allowed.
Can private dinners be arranged?
Create and personalize your own private dining experience, prepared and served at the location of your choice at an extra charge. Our chefs are delighted to accommodate any special dietary or meal requirements.
Can we book a table in advance?
Reservations for the à la carte restaurant Faros can be made at the main restaurant daily, except Sundays, between 09:00 and 11:00.
Is early breakfast or a breakfast box & lunch box available?
Yes, an early breakfast service is available for guests departing before regular breakfast hours. Requests must be made at the reception no later than 20:00 on the day prior to departure.

Do we have to book the spa in advance?
While it is not necessary to book in advance, we recommend booking Elixir Alchemy Spa treatments and massages at least a week in advance. What are the spa facilities?
Grecotel Casa Marron’s Elixir Wellness Center offers a range of spa and wellness amenities, including two private massage rooms, a relaxation lounge, a fully equipped fitness room, a sauna, and an indoor wellness pool (adults only), with a variety of massages, body treatments, and special therapies available by reservation for guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.
Do you have a gym?
Yes. We have a well-equipped indoor gym with numerous modern cardio and strength-training equipment.
KIDS CLUB
Do you have a kids club?
Our Grecoland kids club is a dedicated, fully equipped space designed for children aged 4–12, offering a variety of creative and educational activities supervised by trained staff. Children aged 3 years old and below are also welcome to use the kids club with the presence of a parent or legal guardian. The club operates six days a week throughout the season.
Do you provide special amenities for babies and toddlers?

ACTIVITIES
What indoor & outdoor activities are available?
At Grecotel Casa Marron, there is a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. These include multiple outdoor swimming pools (one featuring waterslides), an indoor quiet pool (accessible only to guests using the Wellness Center; children are not permitted), tennis, beach volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, and aerobics. Guests can also enjoy windsurfing, canoeing, and other non-motorized water sports on the Blue Flag beach. The resort additionally offers Grecoland kids’ club programs, children’s playgrounds, day and evening entertainment, themed events, and live music, with many activities included in the All-Inclusive package.
What types of water sports activities are available?
Non-motorized water sports activities (except SUP) are included in the All-Inclusive package; reservations are required.
For an additional fee, the following activities are available: water-skiing, jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat and ring rides, Crazy Shark, flyboard, and SUP, all requiring special equipment.

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests?
Not all areas of the hotel are accessible to guests using wheelchairs. While ramps are available in some parts of the resort, Grecotel Casa Marron is not fully suitable for guests with mobility impairments.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Do you have a medical facility or pharmacy nearby?
There is a medical center in Kato Achaia (12 km / 7.45 miles away) and major hospitals in Patras (35 km / 21.74 miles away). Pharmacies are available in the surrounding area.
