TRADITIONAL FARMS & VILLAGES
Agreco FarmsAiming to develop a connection between tourism and the local primary sector and culture, we created the Agreco farm, a model traditional farm in Crete. In this organic farm, traditional production and cultivation methods for olive oil, honey and wine are revived in a unique way, without the use of chemicals. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience by tasting a variety of local fresh and organic produce at the estate, and participate in activities related to local production (Farmer for a day, etc.).
DaniliaThe village of Danilia in Corfu is a theme park with its own museum and traditional small shops that keep unchanged the physiognomy of the place and the venetian architectural influences. Through the museums, the folklore exhibitions, the shops and the tavern, visitors have the opportunity to get to know the traditions of the place and to become part of an authentic gastronomic experience.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC FOOD PRODUCTSGRECOTEL has also developed the organic farm Agreco Farms where the famous products of the island are produced without the use of chemicals and pesticides. These products can be found in all hotels of the Group, duty free shops around the country, international markets, as well as through AGRECOFARMS, our specialized e-shop. Similarly, we try to supply our holets with certified organic products, that are produced responsibly and by employing ethical practices, which respect people and the planet, making sure natural processes and living stock remain unharmed at all stages.
