Where are you located?

Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama is a beachfront resort on the island of Rhodes, Greece, in the Faliraki/Kallithea area on the northeastern coast. It is about 16–18 km (~11 miles), roughly a 25–30 minutes’ drive, from Rhodes “Diagoras” International Airport, and 12–13 km (~8 miles), about a 15–20 minutes’ drive, from Rhodes Ferry/Sea Port. The hotel sits along a sandy/pebbly beach overlooking the Aegean Sea, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and water activities.

 

How far is the main town?

The hotel is about 12 km (7.5 miles), roughly a 20 minutes’ drive, from Rhodes Town. Rhodes offers a mix of beautiful beaches, a charming Old Town, and vibrant local markets.

 

What is the weather like?

Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama experiences hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters, with temperatures ranging from approximately 5–32 °C (41–89 °F). The warmest period is from mid-June to early September, peaking in August at around 31 °C (88 °F).
The coolest months are from late November to late March, with January being the coldest month, averaging around 14 °C (58 °F).

 

What Time Zone is followed?

Greece follows GMT+3 during the summer months (from late March until October) and GMT+2 during the winter months, due to the daylight saving time change.

TRANSPORTATION

How do I get there?

You can reach Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama by arranging a transfer or taxi from Diagoras International Airport, which can be booked in advance through the hotel. Alternatively, you may take a taxi ordered 24/7 via reception (typical wait time 10–30 minutes, with pre-order recommended), use a rental car or motorbike arranged through the concierge desk, or travel by public bus operating at specific times during the day, with schedules available from reception or concierge.

 

Are private transfers available?

Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request and at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. Are there any complimentary shuttle services available to/from the hotel?

What modes of transportation are available at the destination?

At Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama on the Greek island of Rhodes, you can reach the hotel by taxi, private transfer, rental car, or local bus. The hotel is about 12 km (7.5 miles) from Rhodes Town, 16–18 km (11 miles) from Rhodes “Diagoras” International Airport, and 12–13 km (8 miles) from Rhodes Ferry/Sea Port. Taxis and transfers offer direct and convenient service, rental cars provide flexibility to explore the island, and local buses connect Faliraki/Kallithea with Rhodes Town and nearby attractions.

Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out?

If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability.

 

Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out?

All hotel facilities are available to Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly. Kindly note that the LUXME package officially ends at 5:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

 

Are luggage storage services available?

The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out.

 

Are twin beds available?

Yes, twin beds are available upon request in select room types.

 

Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room?

Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room, applicable to select room types and during specific periods.

 

Does the room include complimentary coffee or tea facilities?

All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, including a Nespresso coffee machine. Two pods per guest are provided complimentary upon arrival. Daily replenishment of Nespresso pods is included for LUXME all-inclusive guests, while instant coffee and tea are replenished daily for all guests. Please let us know if you would like fresh milk for your tea.

 

Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival?

Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected].

 

Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room?

An iron and ironing board is available for our guests and can be delivered to your room for a limited length of time for security reasons. Ironing service is also available at an extra charge.

 

Is there a safe in the room?

All room types offer a safety deposit box.

How do I pay for my reservation?

Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club.
Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder.
In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.

 

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked.

 

Are there any additional fees?

In compliance with legal regulations, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €10.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out.

DINING & MEAL PLANS

Are all restaurants operational?

Yes. All our restaurants are operational throughout the season. In the event of unexpected adverse weather conditions, outdoor seating areas may be temporarily closed for guest comfort and safety.

 

What meal plans are available?

Guests staying at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama enjoy an upscale all-inclusive experience under the LUXME package.
The plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the main buffet restaurant, as well as à la carte dining options, daytime snacking including the Pâtisserie-Chocolaterie and Creperie-Gelateria, and a premium selection of drinks and beverages. The LUXME package is valid at all available restaurants and bars but does not apply to in-room dining. Each à la carte restaurant may be reserved once per week, subject to availability, and advance reservations are required. Guests may also enjoy a dine-out experience at a nearby local taverna during the high season (transfers not included). The LUXME package ends at 5:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

 

What meal plans are available for children?

Children up to 12 years of age enjoy a complimentary lunch buffet at the ‘Tasty Corner’ (12:30–14:00, from mid-June to mid-September), as well as free dining at the main restaurant from a dedicated kids’ menu. Guests aged over 12 are considered adults.

 

Do you have baby food available?

For infants aged 0–1 year, baby food can be prepared according to your preferences. Please contact the Restaurant Manager in advance to place your order. Our staff is also happy to assist with warming baby bottles or baby food.

 

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs.

 

Are there any dress-codes for the restaurants?

We kindly request all guests to adhere to a resort casual attire with appropriate footwear while dining with us.
Evening Dress Code (after 17:00) : Elegant, Smart Casual – Swimwear, sportswear and flip-flops are not allowed.

 

Can private dinners be arranged?

Create and personalize your own private dining experience, prepared and served at the location of your choice. Our chefs are delighted to accommodate any special dietary or meal requirements.

 

Can we book a table in advance?

We recommend booking your restaurant reservations in advance. You may reserve in advance via the Grecotel mobile application, available for download on all iOS and Android devices. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during your stay.

 

Is early breakfast or a breakfast box & lunch box available?

Yes, early breakfast is available upon request. It typically includes light items such as pastries, coffee, and juice. Guests are kindly asked to inform the reception by 20:00 the evening prior to ensure timely preparation. Lunch boxes can also be arranged for early departures or meals on the go.

While Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama does not feature a traditional spa, guests can indulge in soothing massage treatments at our charming Gazebo Massage by the Beach. Nestled right by the shoreline, this serene setting allows you to unwind to the gentle sounds of the waves while enjoying personalized treatments provided by a trusted external partner. Appointments are made directly at the gazebo, and our Guest Services team is always happy to guide you and connect you with your therapist, ensuring a truly relaxing and effortless experience.

Do you have a kids club?

Our Grecoland kids club is a dedicated, fully equipped space designed for children aged 4–12, offering a variety of creative and educational activities supervised by trained staff. Children aged 3 years old and below are also welcome to use the kids club with the presence of a parent or legal guardian. The club operates six days a week throughout the season.

 

Do you provide special amenities for babies and toddlers?

What indoor & outdoor activities are available?

There’s a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy, with something for every interest. Outdoor options include water sports like paratrike, paragliding, wakeboarding, waterskiing, scuba diving, and snorkeling, as well as activities like tennis and laser tag. For indoor fun, you can try baking and cooking lessons, yoga, and more. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, or something creative, there’s plenty to choose from.

 

Are there good diving spots near Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama?

At Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama, we collaborate with an external scuba diving center. Dives are arranged according to your level of experience, and children above 8 years of age may join to explore the Aegean Sea. The diving centers are located in the Faliraki area as well as in the city of Rhodes.

 

Do you do Excursion boat trips?

Yes, we offer a wide range of boat trips a wide option of boats from self-driven to yachts to enjoy the sea breeze of the Aegean emerald waters, cruises and experiences, snorkeling excursions, fishing, as well as available at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama Concierge Team ready to provide you plenty of information to plan the trip of your dreams.

 

Do we have to pre-book Watersports, Scuba Diving and Excursions?

We recommend booking excursions a week prior to the arrival date to ensure availability. Soon after your arrival will also be possible to explore options and suggestions with our concierge team. For Scuba diving, your in-person presence is required during the booking process, hence, this can be done upon arrival. As for watersports, no pre-booking is required.

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests?

Yes, all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. There are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel as well as rooms for disabled persons.

What plug adapter do I need to bring?

The hotel is equipped with Type C power plugs and sockets. Type C plugs feature two round parallel pins that connect to corresponding two-hole wall sockets. The standard voltage supplied is 220 V.

 

Is the tap water drinkable?

Tap water in Rhodes is generally safe to drink. However, due to taste and mineral content, we recommend opting for bottled water.
