We would also like to say a special thank you to your Front Office Manager who helped us a great deal when our tour operator [xxx] failed to pick us up from your hotel for our trip back to the airport on our return journey. She helped make a stressful situation a lot easier by contacting [xxx] when we were unable to get through on the help line and arranging for a taxi to come and pick us up and get us to the airport on time.  Without her assistance we would have struggled to get to the airport in time for our flight.

Dear Grecotel team,


We wants to thank all the team of the Grecohotel Lakopetra Beach hotel, because we have had a wonderfull time in this hotel from the 2nd of July till the 20st of July. The people of the team are all nice and very friendly. The food is everyday splendid and fresh. Also for a vegetarian alsme it is heaven on earth. Bravo to the chef and his team.


Also bravo for the two chefs in the restaurant Georges and Kostas and there team. All great people. Also the people at the reception are great, always friendly and a great help when you need theme. The garden is fantastic and well maintain. And than the cleaning of our room (family bungalow 312) was also sparkling. special thank to Maria. We cann't forget the animation team who did marvellous work. really fantastic. We wants a special thank to say to Angelika the woman of the public relations, she has always a friendly word for everybody.


Thank you people of the Lakopetra Beach hotel, we had the time of our life and we miss it already in our cold country Belgium.

Dear Ms Smith,


after spending one - week - holiday in Grecotel Lakopetra Beach I would like to express our satisfaction.

The accommodation, pools, beach service and all the other equipment were on a high level to keep familiar atmosphere and feeling of relaxation. We were warmly welcomed and  spoilt the whole week by all the staff. No wonder we did not want to leave at the end :) Especially we would like to appreciate the ladies in the restaurant and in the bars - Katerina, Ageliki and  Panorea, to name just a few. They were real professionals, very friendly and fast. Watching them setting the tables  was like a watching a concert.


However, the main person and  the leading  good spirit of Lacopetra Beach was  for us  ANGELIKI. She was willing to work over time to help us with everything we needed ( organizing our trip, renting a car...) What more she negotiated  our visit in Grecotel Olympia during our trip on that cost which  we regard as a kind of real over standard service. She was always interested in our  Greek experience and opinion.In every moment we could see and feel that she is the right person on the right place and her heart beats for Grecotel and Greece.


Normally we do not visit the same place twice. However according to this experience we are now thinking about spending  our next holiday in Grecotel again. :)

Dear ladies and gentlemen,


we spend our holidays from 13.06. - 27.06.2011 on Kos Island in the beautiful Grecotel KOS Imperial and would like to inform you about our experience and impressions with this hotel.

After arrival, we have to wait only few minutes for check in - great, because it was no more than 10:30h local time!

The entrance (lobby) and main building is really amazing and of course very clean! All the buildings around, the swimming pool area and the garden are well maintained and our room, really comfortable!

SPECIAL thanks to Mrs. E. S. for the great assistance! She always give us her full support in reference to our requests! :o)

We are looking forward to spend our next holidays in one Grecotel too!

It has been a great joy to spend 3 nights at the beautiful Grecotel Cape Sounio as part of our site inspection tour for the 2011 [company meeting]. I would like to thank you so much for your generous hospitality and your warm farewell. My husband … who is a fabulous cook was delighted to receive the Cretan cookbook, the special olive oil and the delicious honey. I can now look forward to some delicious "Cretan" food at home.
On a more serious note, Cape Sounio is a very special resort hotel in close proximity to Athens and the airport. In my eyes the ideal post cruise destination for the [company] incentive.
Nikos, again thank you and I hope to see you again sometime in the future. In the meantime I send you my best wishes for a very successful 2010 season.

The hotel Amirandes (we spend our holidays in Sep 2008) compared to other Grecotels is outstanding regarding the architectural design. The conception to combine water, stone and wood has been implemented perfectly. The complex seems like 1001 nights (especially by night). The big pool is visually pleasing. You will find a wide range of rooms and suites for every taste and wallet. We liked our room with sea view very much and found other guests echoed this. The whole team, Management, Guest Relations Manager, Reception, waiters and cleaners spared no effort to please the guests. Since opening in the middle of 2007, they have created a brilliant team. Catering (half-board buffet) offers a big variety at breakfast as well as at dinner. For special occasions, you will find, in addition to the main restaurant, other theme restaurants for a fee. The Guest Relations Manager greeted us and explained everything and we found a welcome with a choice of drinks and fruits. Sunbeds, umbrellas, bath robe, safe, beach towels etc. are available free. Our impression and summary of Amirandes and the staff: excellent and recommendable!

Please allow us through this email to extend a very big thank you to the General Manager Mr. V.M and his outstanding staff including the F&B Manager, for going out of their way to please us and our guests, and make our wedding a very special and unforgettable occasion. We couldn't have chosen a better hotel in the world to organize our venue! Everything was perfect!

We would like to take a few minutes to praise Mrs. M.Z the Resident Manager who for the past five months has not only met our expectations but has exceeded them by far! From the first moment we contacted her,she made sure that our every little or big 'demand' was met to the fullest. She took care of EVERYTHING, attended our every need in the outmost professional and personal way. She has been in every sense our 'personal wedding oranizer'. Thank you for a 'dream' wedding!

For several years, we visit grecotel hotels .(as well 4 stars, 5 stars as exclusive resorts). 

It is difficult to compare  hotels: some are more suitable for families, others have other qualities. Last September, we have spent our holiday at Amirandes for the 5th (!) time.

Not only due to its fantastic accommodation, but mainly for the warm welcome.

Grecotel makes huge efforts to make their guests feel at home, but the way they achieve that at Amirandes is outstanding. They really know how to pamper their guests.

The efforts of Mr. Vassilis , the general manager, have an extraordinary effect on all his staff : he has built a fantastic team.


I also especially want to mention Mrs. Maria S., George, the ‘ maître’ and the food and beverage manager. They all keep close contact with all guests and deliver wonderful work: they are the one to keep! “It’s not possible” does not exist at Amirandes. It does not surprise me that more people find Amirandes worthwhile coming back. 

We have booked a holiday in May: it will be at Amirandes for the 6 th time !!

My husband and I stayed at the Grecotel Eva Palace from 2 August to 10 August 2010.


Whilst our stay in Corfu was beautiful and the hotel was generally lovely, our stay was made even better by your staff. In particular, I want to make special mention of the front desk manager Maria (who went out of her way to accommodate us), the reception staff Eleni (whose smile and local food recommendations were excellent), housekeeper Maria (who was always ready to say hello and made sure that our room was cleaned even though we got up very late) and night staff Odysseus (whose laughter and hospitality when we returned to the hotel every night at 3am made it worthwhile coming in at such a late hour!).


We regularly travel to Europe annually and have experience with 5 star hotels and staff. I would go so far to say that Maria, Eleni and Odysseus are collectively some of the best hotel staff that my husband and I have ever encountered. Please pass on this message to whomever deals with your client relations and ensure that you let the staff know of our appreciation as it these little things that make us want to return to your hotel.

I have just returned today to work having left your hotel yesterday following my honeymoon.  I would like to thank you for your help and assistance in ensuring that I had a very special holiday.  I was most impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of all of the staff at the hotel.  I express my special thanks for allowing me to have a room to change my child also with my late flight.

All staff were superb from check in to porters and cleaners.  I travel a great deal and visit many hotels but in terms of customer service, Creta Palace sets the benchmark.  The owner can rightly be proud of his staff.  Often on a holiday towards the end a person generally starts to feel ready for home but I am really sad to be back as the facilities of the Hotel were superb.

They all really enjoyed themselves and were very impressed with the great welcome they received. As it is very difficult to choose a place that suits everyone we knew Pella Beach was the place to be. I would also like to thank you for the lovely birthday cake which was made for our grand-daughter M., she had a lovely birthday.

Dear Ms. Daskalantonakis,

This is a letter of appreciation. As you yourself wrote in the 10th issue of the G magazine, the island of Crete epitomizes friendship reflecting “….hospitality in the warmth of the land and the generosity of the people.”

Having by now spent the first week of June for 9 years in a row at the Grecotel El Greco outside Rhetymnon, my wife M. and I would like to write and inform you of our excellent experiences for all these years with the staff members of this hotel.

In particular, we have been impressed with the professionalism and generosity of the Maitre Restaurant, Mr. S.V and the Food and Beverage Manager, Mr. M.G, both of whom through their friendly handshakes, welcoming smiles, and hard work have made our stays so memorable. The same goes for the Maitre Luncheon, Mr. G.C, who makes our lunch experiences a wonderful break in the middle of the day. The cook in the lunch restaurant, Mr. Y, generally has an extra surprise dish for us, and served with pita bread his meat is just perfectly grilled. The Captain in the pool bar, Mr. G.A also has made us feel extra welcome, and he usually sends us a CD with Greek music as a gift for Christmas, so that we will be able to start dreaming of our El Greco week in June.

We have also been pleasantly surprised by the general atmosphere all around the hotel, with hard-working and very friendly personnel in most, if not all, locations. The wonderful and well-kept flower gardens all around the hotel are also a special treat to be admired for the guests.

The fact that the staff at El Greco has been the same for so many years is an additional pleasure, and when we arrive each year, it is almost like “coming home.”

These are the main reasons for this letter of appreciation, and I wanted to let you know of how pleased we are with your hotel and its personnel.
