Jean-Michel Cousteau, probably the most famous family in ocean discovery, is bringing his “Ambassadors of the Environment” (AOTE) programme to Greece. In an exclusive partnership with Grecotel, the childrenʼs programme is being presented at the Cape Sounio, Grecotel Exclusive Resort.

For more than 60 years, the Cousteau family have been part of the greatest exploration of the oceans. Jacques-Yves Cousteau said “people protect what they love” and with this philosophy, his son launched “Ambassadors of the Environment” for children aged 4-12 years old.

Kids learn through play, and the Cape Sounio AOTE programmes are individually designed to give children a better understanding of their role in the planetʼs eco-system. The program introduces young people to the natural wonders and rich cultural traditions of Greece.

Sounioʼs ecological and cultural resources become a natural classroom and living laboratory in which kids, teenagers and even their parents learn while having fun. And they would never imagine that this is educational. Through exploration and active study, our ambassadors have a deep appreciation and respect for nature as well as an understanding of how to live more sustainably back home.
